About this role
Role Overview
- Collaborate closely with product and platform teams to design and evolve Nordnet’s cloud platform on GCP.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and opinionated “golden paths.”
- Create secure and scalable patterns for CloudSQL, networking, IAM, Kubernetes, observability, and more.
- Improve the developer experience around infrastructure provisioning.
- Strengthen reliability, automation, and operational maturity.
- Contribute to standards and support teams in adopting them.
Requirements
- An experienced engineer (typically 5+ years in software development).
- Built production systems in Java or Golang.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure in one of the major providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Understand distributed systems and how they behave under failure.
- Care about automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Communicate clearly and enjoy working with others to find pragmatic solutions.
