Role Overview
- Design Creation: Develop and execute eye-catching graphic designs for various media platforms including print, packaging, digital, and social media.
- Collaboration: Work closely with ITG and John Lewis teams to create cohesive designs that reflect marketing goals and objectives
- including presenting design work to various stakeholders.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are consistent with our client’s image, style, and messaging.
- Feedback Implementation: Take feedback constructively and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure the final product meets their expectations.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest graphic design trends and software, continuously seeking to bring innovation and fresh ideas to the team.
Requirements
- A design-related degree or equivalent portfolio demonstrating strong foundational skills.
- Basic understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual composition.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate your design decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from others.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with support.
Nice to have (not essential):
- Experience with Figma.
- Motion graphics basics (After Effects or similar).
- Understanding of digital and social media formats.
