Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data platforms on Azure
Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance for data platforms
Architect and optimize data solutions leveraging Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)
Establish and enforce CI/CD best practices for data and platform deployments
Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and compliance
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data architectures
Act as a technical reference for Data Engineering and platform-related topics
Mentor and guide engineering teams on architecture and best practices
Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into the platform strategy

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Cloud Architecture
Strong expertise in designing and implementing data platforms on Azure
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
Solid background in Data Engineering (batch, streaming, data modeling, pipelines)
Proven experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform)
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for data platforms
Strong understanding of data platform security (IAM, encryption, governance, compliance)
Experience building scalable, cloud-native architectures
Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders on technical strategy
Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring teams
