Assist with day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing operations
Implement yield, process and product improvements
Maintain safety, product quality/yield and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of process difficulties
Assist with optimization of manufacturing processes to provide sustainable gains in cost effectiveness and product performance through capital projects, statistical analysis, designed experiments and procedural changes
Resolve customer technical/quality issues and provide special products
Participate on cross-functional teams to resolve problems, develop, and start up new products
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
2+ years of process engineering experience in chemical plating techniques, surface preparation, and post-treatment processes
Good understanding of process capability analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to analyse and interpret technical data
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
