Role Overview
- Provide input and analysis into the strategic sourcing activities of assigned suppliers and/or commodities.
- Support and may lead the implementation of NPI project launches.
- Responsible for coordinating sourcing needs for new product development projects, including supplier selection.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply management, Business, Finance, Operations management, Engineering or related field.
- 4 years of professional experience, of which at least 1 year is in strategic sourcing, supply management and supplier development.
- Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services.
- Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms and contract administration.
