Ensure the completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation.
Provide patients with orientation regarding program objectives, phase system requirements, rules and regulations, sanctions, hours of services, patient rights, and additional information to help patients adjust.
Assure each patient is assessed and placed according to treatment phases.
Keep all patient files organized and updated in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Counsel patients in crisis situations by identifying resources and coping abilities.
Arrange referrals to other agencies and community resources as appropriate.
Perform treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences.
Requirements
Possess a license that is in line with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) qualifications.
Maintain compliance with the requirements for continuing education hours and/or units (CEH or CEU).
Preferred experience with dependency and/or medication-assisted treatment.
