As the Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable, reliable data pipelines and platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases.
The role leads complex engineering efforts, ensures high standards for data quality and reliability, and partners closely with analytics, platform, and business teams to deliver trusted data products.
This position plays a critical role in evolving the organization’s data architecture and engineering best practices.
Design and implement data models using different modelling standards and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
5+ years of industry experience in Data Engineering or related field handling data processing and transformation of disparate datasets
Experience with big data and analytics programming languages such as Python, R, Spark in Databricks
Experience with batch and real-time processing frameworks (EventHub, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, etc.)
Willingness to work in a highly flexible environment with multiple competing priorities
Proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest development in area of expertise
Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content.
