Bilingual Helpline Counselor – Care Consultant

Role Overview

• Provide compassionate guidance and support to individuals contacting the nationwide 24/7 Helpline
• Apply SFBT techniques while providing short-term, goal-oriented consultation
• Educate constituents on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias
• Handle high emotions and trauma with calmness and empathy
• Document all interactions accurately
• Provide culturally responsive, bilingual support

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
• 1 year of experience
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required
• Knowledge of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) techniques
• Strong general computer skills
• Familiarity with the healthcare system, mental health services, aging and disability services, and Alzheimer’s disease.
