Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow analyses
Support audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis on variances and recommendations for improvement
Develop and implement internal control policies, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations and fiscal compliance

3+ year of experience fluent in English and Portuguese
Demonstrated experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in an international environment
Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to expedite their implementation from a financial perspective (preferably Odoo but not mandatory)
Effective communications skills to collaborate with senior team members and present financial insights
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to address challenges and optimize financial operations
Understanding of international tax regulations, IFRS and local GAAP
