Provides design leadership on projects and supervises staff in creating concepts, comps, layouts and final art.
Develops creative solutions and then translate those solutions through a variety of channels.
Creates designs and completes graphics work necessary for the preparation of assigned projects for display or reproduction including publication covers, pamphlets, signs, emblems, maps, letterheads, certificates, and forms.
Designs, creates, and updates computer graphics and artwork for various television purposes, including the videotext bulletin board that is displayed between television programs.
Provides project management for an entire marketing campaign.
Confers with department representatives to determine job requirements, budget, concept/design of job, and review of work performed.
Communicates with internal business partners as needed on the development of marketing communications (print and digital) pieces to ensure that a creative theme is included throughout all projects.
Maintains quality inspections on all graphic projects to ensure professional standards and best practices are employed.
Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree of Arts in Graphic Design or Portfolio School; AND
Four years of experience as a designer/art director and extensive knowledge of the design process (concept to execution), print layout, typography, photography, video production; OR
An equivalent combination of education (not less than a high school diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above.
