Analyze payment processes in core banking systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains
Perform software analysis and develop solutions, from initial concept to backlog refinement
Analyze and implement client requirements for payment transactions, including processing and account reconciliation, involving programming, integration, testing, and rollout
Operate Instant Payment as a containerized solution
Collaborate with payment specialists to understand issues in business processes
Create and maintain internal developments and interfaces
Ensure delivery quality and work closely with the QA team
Troubleshoot payment issues, test new and existing functions, and document interactions with stakeholders
Provide support in problem resolution and respond to questions
Work according to agile principles.
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Knowledge of payment products such as transfers, standing orders, direct debits, card processing, etc.
Knowledge of payment systems and networks such as SIC, EUROSIC, SEPA, SWIFT, instant payments
Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Knowledge of payment standards and regulations such as ISO 20022, CBPR+, PSD2, (EU) No 260/2012, etc.
Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with strong team spirit and a problem-solving attitude
Interest in understanding business requirements for payments and coordinating with other teams
