Controller – Accounting, Financial Reporting, Budgeting

Role Overview

• You manage our subscription management tool (Chargebee) and ensure recurring revenue is recorded accurately.
• You prepare the monthly reporting for our shareholders and compile the relevant KPIs (MRR, Churn, CAC).
• Together with the CEO, you prepare the annual budget and monitor compliance (budget vs. actual comparisons & ongoing monitoring).
• You oversee day-to-day financial accounting and act as the liaison to our tax advisor.
• You are responsible for the cost side, optimize our spending and manage an efficient dunning/collections process.

Requirements

• SaaS background: You have experience at a software company or start-up/scale-up and understand how a subscription model works.
• Tool stack: You are comfortable using modern finance tools (Chargebee, Google Sheets).
• AI-savvy: You keep up to date with new technologies and like to experiment with new tools.
• Hands-on mentality: You enjoy not only analyzing processes but also implementing them operationally.
• Clarity: You can present complex numbers in a clear, management-friendly way.
