You design event-streaming architectures with Apache Kafka and integrate data streams from various sources.
You transform data-science models and prototypes into robust, production-ready software solutions.
You run applications in Kubernetes environments and ensure smooth, reliable deployments.
You make efficient use of Helm charts.
You actively shape the build-out and ongoing development of the software development team.
You perform code reviews, coach team members, and enforce quality standards in development.
You collaborate closely with solution architects and provide practical feedback on architectural decisions.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and Spring Boot
Solid knowledge of microservices architectures and cloud-native technologies
Practical experience with Kubernetes and Linux-based environments
Understanding of event streaming (Apache Kafka) and data integration
Basic frontend skills, ideally with Angular or React
Experienced in working with agile methods (Scrum, Domain-Driven Design)
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Bonus but not required: experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, additional programming languages such as Go or Python, knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS or Azure), experience in coaching or mentoring developers
