Respond to payroll-related questions from employees at a variety of clients and own employees.
Interact with 401k and benefit providers.
Keep the rest of the Payroll Group on track.
Pull reports for a client’s accounting team.
Requirements
Proven experience (8 – 10 years minimum) managing multiple clients and processing numerous payrolls each week in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ideal if you’ve worked successfully in a payroll leadership and also a consulting role in the past.
A keen eye for detail and organization is one of your many superpowers.
Ability to prioritize your workload and that of your team in a proactive, organized way.
A phenomenal communicator; Overcommunication? No. Such. Thing!
You excel at both verbal and written communication.
You are the Sherlock Holmes of payroll – naturally curious and a mystery solver.

Comfortable enough with California’s wage and hour compliance requirements to answer some compliance-related questions.
Familiar with an array of software platforms such as Paychex, Paylocity, Gusto and Rippling.
