Develops, achieves and maintains maximum sales volume consistent with projections.
Actively generates new leads through community activities, attending association meetings, and cold calling to obtain expiration dates and other information to turn leads into prospects and clients.
Submits data on potential accounts and renewals to support personnel for processing, helps market accounts, presents proposals to prospects and clients, and closes sales.
Continually strives to provide value added customer service to existing clients.
Handles complex processing and claim situations with client and/or company personnel.
Responsible for collection of all premiums, including audits made subsequent to policy issuance, on all new accounts produced.
Maintains production reports and attends sales meetings as required.
Promotes the agency and the insurance industry in the community.
Requirements
Insurance License
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
1 – 3 years experience in a similar position
Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
