Evaluate and process insurance renewal applications by assessing risk
Determine appropriate coverage and pricing for personal lines insurance policies
Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries
Ensure all underwriting activities comply with Quality Control guidelines
Perform additional job functions/responsibilities as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines underwriting or a related role within the insurance industry
Property & Casualty License and Surplus Lines License in resident state are required within 45 days of start date
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication (including exceptional telephone demeanor) and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in insurance knowledge
