About this role
Role Overview
Review and edit new contributions from external expert authors to ensure they address important clinical questions.
Ensure topics contain specific and actionable recommendations and describe the supporting evidence.
Monitor the literature for new developments and identify topics that need updating.
Systematically review existing topics for clarity, completeness, and clinical relevance.
Collaborate closely with outside authors, section editors, editors-in-chief, and peer reviewers to ensure accuracy and impartiality.
Requirements
Medical Degree
Board Certification/Eligibility in Adult Endocrinology
Clinical experience in an academic setting after residency
A valid medical license in at least one U.S. state
Impeccable communication skills: verbal, writing, and listening
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at different skill levels
Self-motivated, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to give and receive feedback effectively
Interest in critical analysis of the medical literature (skills can be learned on the job)
Ability to spend 80 to 90% of the work week on editorial work
Interest in and ability to maintain clinical work (10 to 20%)
