About this role
Role Overview
- Tuning systems to optimize performance and writing & maintaining alerts to detect anomalies in the systems
- Designing and implementing scalable systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance across production environments
- Managing the rollout and activation of new features and platform changes
- Developing monitoring tools and automating processes to help scale our systems better
- Troubleshooting complex application issues, service incidents, performance, and availability issues
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Linux/Unix-like operating systems administration and a Bachelor's degree
- Significant background in building and administering Kubernetes clusters
- Experience in programming or scripting in any language (bonus point for Python)
- Experience in Rest APIs and be able to monitor systems & applications for performance
- Experience with database queries or big data technologies & writing and analyzing complex SQL queries
- Experience in configuring and managing PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrate successful leadership skills, able to collaborate, communicate, prioritize, and solve problems in an ever-changing environment
