About this role
Role Overview
- You analyze requirements, evaluate tools, and provide strategic recommendations
- You design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and platform solutions (Kubernetes, IaC) with attention to security aspects
- You advise on container platforms, CI/CD, and observability
- You help standardize platform architectures
- You work closely with our clients—on an equal footing and with a holistic perspective
- You further develop our platform engineering career path
- You support your colleagues at AIM with your expertise
- You contribute to client acquisition (e.g., through technical articles and contributions)
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps/platform engineering environment
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas: CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes or a Kubernetes distribution
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc.)
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
- Structured, self-directed way of working
- Eagerness for continuous learning, professional growth, and openness to new tools and methods
- Very good German skills (at least C1) and basic technical English (B1)
