About this role
Role Overview
Build and further develop complex financial models for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects
Conduct profitability analyses and investment evaluations for new projects
Analyze potential M&A transactions, project deals and strategic partnerships
Prepare business cases, cash-flow forecasts and scenario analyses
Compile well-founded decision documents for management, investors and shareholders
Support due-diligence processes and the structuring of new investments
Work closely with Development, Investments, Strategy and Finance
Requirements
Completed degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics or a comparable field
Initial relevant professional experience (approx. 2–5 years) in areas such as Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, Energy Consulting or Infrastructure Investments
Confident user of Excel and financial modeling
Interest in energy markets, infrastructure investments and the energy transition
Analytical thinking and a strong understanding of economic and financial interrelationships
Very good German and English skills
Willingness to work regularly in Munich
