Design and evolve the application and integration architecture of a new web-based product
Design and own core backend and API components using .NET / C#
Set technical standards and ensure scalable, maintainable implementations
Guide architectural decisions considering security, data protection, and regulatory requirements
Work hands-on in development and act as a technical role model
Lead and mentor engineers through reviews, coaching, and technical decisions
Enable responsible and effective use of AI-supported development tools
Collaborate closely with product management and neighboring teams

Several years of professional experience in backend or fullstack software development using .NET / C#
Strong experience designing APIs and working with modular or distributed system architectures
Clear architectural mindset and make technical decisions with long-term scalability and maintainability in mind
Experience taking technical leadership responsibility, mentoring engineers, and guiding teams through complex decisions
Enjoy working hands-on while owning critical or foundational system components
Understand security, data protection, and regulatory requirements and incorporate them into technical decisions
Practical experience using AI-supported development tools and understand their benefits, limitations, and risks
Communicate confidently in English (C1 level); German is an advantage
