Role Overview
- Turn a promising prototype into something real
- deploying models, automating pipelines, and building infrastructure
- Pair frequently with data scientists to understand their needs
- Work across API development, cloud infrastructure, front-end demos, and automation
- Help shape research & development priorities with engineering teams
- Deploy LLM agent workflows and build APIs for new data sources
- Automate the running of evaluation scripts and build infrastructures for running ML models in production
Requirements
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience, with a track record of building and deploying production services
- Excellent Python programming skills
- Some familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript (ideally modern front-end frameworks like Next.js)
- Strong foundations in software engineering best practices: requirements gathering, code review, testing, version control, documentation
- Solid experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) and cloud infrastructure in general
- Experience building and deploying APIs (REST or similar)
- Comfortable working with Docker and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Reasonable fluency with data science terminology and tools
- Deeply collaborative nature
