Take responsibility for solution-oriented sales of consulting and engineering services in the field of machinery safety
Act as a technically proficient point of contact on equal footing with development, safety and production stakeholders
Support clients from the initial analysis through to implementation of standards-compliant safety solutions
Provide consultative sales for machinery safety solutions including functional safety, CE conformity and safety-related automation
Analyze customer requirements in mechanical and plant engineering as well as in industrial production
Identify new business opportunities and systematically expand existing customer relationships
Develop, price and negotiate technical proposals and project scopes
Work closely with internal engineering and safety experts
Support customer projects across the entire sales and project lifecycle
Monitor the market and competitors in the field of machinery safety and standards development

Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline
Several years of experience in technical B2B sales or in a consulting-related role within the machinery safety domain
Solid knowledge or practical experience with machinery safety and functional safety standards (e.g. EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13849, EN IEC 62061)
Experience with CE conformity assessment and risk assessment
Ability to explain complex technical and normative issues clearly and in a customer-oriented manner
Confident presence with strong consulting and negotiation skills
German at native level, fluent English
Willingness to travel in connection with customer projects
