I take overall responsibility for our financial accounting and report directly to the Head of Finance.
I handle tax-related issues in close cooperation with our external tax advisor.
I ensure that monthly and annual financial statements are prepared on time, completely and accurately and that proper controls are in place.
I support the Head of Finance in establishing an in-house accounting function at Plantafood, including migrating from DATEV or external tax advisor solutions to our internal system.
I lead my team in a structured and efficient manner, ensure smooth processes, and make sure all accounting-related tasks are executed reliably.

Successfully completed advanced training as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a degree in business administration with a focus on finance/accounting.
Several years of solid professional experience managing the financial accounting of a manufacturing company, ideally with extensive warehouse operations, and experience in cross-departmental structuring and optimization of accounting-related processes.
Experience with DATEV, Dynamics/Navision or comparable accounting software, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong affinity for numbers, a structured way of working, and a good understanding of accounting principles.
Independent, precise working style with a willingness to take responsibility for assigned areas.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and enjoyment of working in a team.
