Role Overview
- Responsible for a highly specialized 6-person engineering team
- Ensure high process quality and efficiency across the area
- Collaborate with other Engineering Managers as well as the Engineering Director and VP of Engineering
- Coach and support team members through 1:1s and regular feedback
- Assess the technical feasibility of features and requirements
- Manage and oversee software delivery within the squad
- Identify talent and recruit for the team
- Discuss technical concepts and perform code reviews
Requirements
- Strong experience operating applications in the cloud on Kubernetes
- Experience with distributed/containerized systems or microservices
- Ability to work with complex environments and resolve technical problems
- Experience leading teams across a broad range of experience levels
- Excellent communication skills
- Business-fluent English (C1 level)
