AI-assisted software development as standard: AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot are not an experiment for us but a primary tool in everyday development. You use them daily and deliberately to develop faster, more efficiently, and with higher quality.
Further development and optimization of existing software: You don’t only build new features but also understand existing code, identify improvement opportunities, and evolve systems strategically.
Integration of external systems and interfaces: Many of our features require connecting third-party providers, whether email, calendar, telephony, or payment providers. You design and implement these integrations to be reliable and maintainable.
Designing well-considered database structures: You understand how business processes translate into clean data models and design database architectures that work today and scale with growing requirements.
Responsibility for clean, secure, and maintainable code: Quality is not a bonus for us. You write code that remains understandable and extensible in two years and ensure technical debt is avoided from the start.
Self-directed work with real ownership: We set goals, not step-by-step instructions. You work independently, communicate proactively, and propose improvements without waiting for directions.
Requirements
Impressive personal projects or work results: This is the most important thing for us. No degree or certificate replaces a portfolio that shows you can actually build things. We want to see what you’re proud of and which technical challenges you’ve solved.
Demonstrable strong AI workflow: You work daily with AI coding tools and can clearly explain how they improve your development workflow. We’re looking for someone who understands the paradigm shift in software development: moving from pure syntax knowledge to systems thinking and intelligent control of AI.
Ability to understand business logic and translate it into software: We build (for example) a CRM for sales teams. You must be able to understand why a feature is needed, not just how to implement it technically. If a sales manager needs a pipeline view, you ask the right questions before you start building.
Quick comprehension and willingness to learn: Tools, frameworks, and best practices change constantly. We’re looking for someone who can quickly learn new things and stay curious instead of doing the same thing for years.
Initiative and ownership mentality: You take responsibility for your results, think ahead, and don’t wait for someone to tell you the next step. Proactive communication and independent action are natural to you.
Experience with our tech stack (desirable): We work with Next.js/React, TypeScript, and Supabase. Prior experience is a plus but not a must. Someone who understands the core principles learns new tools quickly. Knowledge of Go or Rust, which we use for some more complex microservices, is a nice bonus.
Cloud experience (desirable): We use multiple cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. A basic understanding of cloud infrastructure in general is definitely helpful.
Relevant degree or training (desirable): A degree or vocational training in computer science, application development, or a related field is welcome. But career changers with a strong portfolio are equally welcome.
