Installation, configuration, maintenance, implementation and updating of database systems and application databases
Specifically: locating and resolving faults and issues, and implementing optimization measures
Supporting application developers on database modeling questions, formulation of SQL statements, transaction management and database errors
Managing or assisting with root cause analysis and resolution of errors in production systems (database systems, data constellations, job errors, application errors)

You have a completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Database Management or a related field
Alternatively, a comparable vocational qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in database administration or in software development with relational databases
Strong SQL skills and expertise in the MS SQL Server database management system
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex database problems
Additionally, you have an understanding of security aspects related to databases
