About this role
Role Overview
Manage localization projects from quotation through delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing requests, questions, and issues in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Language Delivery, Technical Services, QA, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth project execution
Prepare and update project quotes, schedules, budgets, and workflows based on project requirements
Identify and manage production risks, implementing mitigation actions when necessary
Monitor project progress and provide status updates, reporting, and post-mortem analysis to improve future processes
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO requirements, and quality standards
Manage administrative project tasks such as project closure, translation memory updates, and documentation maintenance
Oversee resource coordination, ensuring vendors and internal teams have the necessary tools, instructions, and information
Support account development by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to improve workflows, processes, and project performance
Provide guidance or task allocation to junior team members when required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, English, Foreign Languages, Social/Applied Sciences, or a related field
3–5 years of experience coordinating or managing projects within the localization or translation industry
Proven client service and account management experience (typically at least 2 years)
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
Experience working with translation management systems and CAT tools (e.g., TRADOS or similar tools)
Familiarity with publishing or content tools such as FrameMaker, InDesign, or similar platforms
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with limited supervision
High level of attention to detail and quality focus
Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus
Fluency in an additional foreign language is a plus
PMP certification is considered an advantage
