Research and interpret global chemical regulations, including frameworks such as REACH (EU), TSCA (US), K-REACH (South Korea), GHS, and Japanese chemical control laws
Analyze how regulatory requirements impact 3E products and translate them into structured logic for Safety Data Sheet (SDS) outputs and broader compliance solutions
Support the development and maintenance of regulatory content pipelines across multiple products
Draft and validate regulatory logic in collaboration with senior team members
Monitor global regulatory updates and contribute to internal tracking, alerts, and summaries
Provide regional expertise in Japanese regulations, ensuring accurate interpretation and relevance of content, including leveraging language and cultural understanding
Contribute to regulatory insights related to Japan, including engagement with industry groups or associations where applicable
Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory specialists, product teams, Insights, and Solutions Architects
Contribute to AI-enabled workflows by helping train and refine digital agents used for regulatory monitoring, summarization, translation, and data classification
Identify inconsistencies or gaps in regulatory content and recommend improvements
Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous learning across a global team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Toxicology, Environmental Law, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in SDS authoring, regulatory research, or chemical compliance
Strong knowledge of global chemical regulations, including REACH, TSCA, K-REACH, and GHS
Knowledge of Japanese chemical regulations and fluency in Japanese (preferred or required depending on role scope)
Ability to interpret complex regulatory or legal text and translate it into structured, rules-based logic
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills
Comfort working with digital tools, data, and systems; experience with AI-assisted tools is a plus
Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English and ability to collaborate across global teams
