Business Development Executive – UK Market

Role Overview

• Lead sourcing: Be able to scour the UK Travel Industry independently to look for new business targets
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline
• Be familiar with the activities of HolidayPirates competitors within the UK travel industry
• Pitch HolidayPirates products to target partners to acquire new business revenue
• Develop relationships with partners to aid business retention and capitalize on upsell opportunities
• Attend external meetings with prospective, new and existing partners
• Produce regular advertising performance reports and be able to present these reports to external partners
• Attend relevant trade fairs and exhibitions
• Work closely and cross-functionally with internal departments

Requirements

• Target-driven individual
• Minimum 2+ years sales experience within the UK travel & tourism sector or a related sector
• A networker with excellent people and communication skills
• Analytical skills, specifically the ability to interpret performance data from an advertising campaign
• Initiative and drive to be successful, combined with enterprise thinking
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills
• Computer literate with knowledge of Google Analytics preferred
• Willingness to travel overseas, when required
