Role Overview
- Work with product development, embedded software, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers to define and execute comprehensive test strategies
- Lead technical test strategy and own validation planning, execution, and risk management
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams for failure analysis and corrective actions
- Contribute to design reviews and provide reliability inputs to mitigate risks
- Analyze developmental flight telemetry and customer analytics for problem identification and risk assessments
Requirements
- 6+ years experience hands-on testing, development, and delivery of highly reliable complex electro-mechanical systems
- Proven experience leading technical validation programs end-to-end
- Strong EE testing experience coupled with good mechanical intuition
- Extensive knowledge of the physics of failure and integration risks of critical electronics and mechanical subsystems
- Proficient in Python and/or SQL to manage and analyze large datasets and automate testing
- A passion for communicating hardware reliability nuances
