Prepare Revit models, update drawings, assist with reports and calculations, take meeting notes, and support coordination activities that help keep projects aligned and moving forward.
Participate in structured training journeys, shadow senior consultants, and gain hands-on exposure to Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines as applicable, as you build discipline knowledge.
Produce accurate and organized Revit models, narratives, calculations, markups, and supporting documentation that strengthen coordinated project delivery.
Respond quickly to feedback, incorporate revisions effectively, and show improvement in technical and production skills.
Maintain complete, timely documentation—including meeting notes, markups, and updates to project tools.
Maintain a healthy model structure by following TEECOM’s file naming, view template, workset, and linking standards.
Develop awareness of spatial coordination, device placement logic, and how technology systems integrate into architectural and MEP environments.
Complete assigned tasks on schedule and communicate early when risks or delays arise.
Actively participate in training journeys, shadowing opportunities, and hands-on learning that strengthen technical capability.
Requirements
BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience in design, drafting, or technology systems.
0–2 years of experience in the AEC industry, design or technology systems, technology systems contracting, field or construction site exposure, or related professional or academic environments.
Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools; familiarity with construction documents or the building design process.
Exposure to BIM coordination concepts (model linking, worksets, clash identification) is a plus.
Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is helpful but not required.
Ability to learn new software, follow workflows, and apply feedback to improve accuracy and clarity of drawings and documentation.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to track tasks, take clear notes, and collaborate effectively.
Foundational understanding of technology systems (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines) is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in standard software tools (Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, Slack); willingness to learn Autodesk tools, Asana, Bluebeam Studio, Callback One, and GitHub.
Industry certifications preferred but not required: EIT — plus, CDT — plus, Introductory Revit/BIM/drafting certifications — plus.
