Monitor systems, databases, processes, and procedures to identify potential risks, issues, or control gaps.
Analyze information and data to support risk identification, assessment, and reporting activities.
Develop clear problem statements and escalate matters requiring attention to appropriate partners or leadership.
Coordinate the collection, compilation, and validation of data from multiple sources.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries; assist with report development as needed.
Support business risk projects and initiatives, including temporary issue remediation and longer-term solutions.
Assist in the assessment, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards.
Partner with Lines of Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and other stakeholders to provide guidance, recommendations, and support related to risk matters.
Participate in meetings and lead discussions with managers and senior leaders to communicate risk items, impacts, and recommendations.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements or control improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of applicable experience
Experience supporting financial services, banking, or regulated environments
Prior experience with loss mitigation, operations, or issue management functions
Experience using reporting or data tools such as SQL
Familiarity with escalation, SWAT, or issue-management teams
