Partner with the PM to shape priorities — including engineering-driven initiatives like tech debt, reliability, and platform improvements

5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years managing engineers (EM, Team Lead with direct reports, or equivalent)
Track record of growing engineers and building high-performing, psychologically safe teams
Experience co-owning product decisions with PMs — not just executing a handed-down backlog
Solid technical foundations (React + Python preferred) — you don't code daily, but you earn trust through technical credibility
Experience in high-growth environments: hiring pipelines, org transitions, scaling from small to mid-size teams
Fluent in Italian and English.
