Role Overview
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, manage invoicing, and ensure all records align with US accounting practices and tax basics
- Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for new contractors
- Serve as the point of contact for internal HR questions
- Maintain organized digital files for all financial and personnel-related records
- Apply a high level of attention to detail to all financial entries and administrative tasks
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or accounting roles
- In-depth knowledge of US accounting practices and familiarity with US tax basics
- Exceptional proficiency in English
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Gusto
- Experience with Notion, Google Docs, and Google Drive
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or Claude
