Develop detailed electrical schematics ensuring safety, energy efficiency, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and compliance with applicable standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the full product lifecycle (NPI
New Product Introduction, quality assurance), from conceptualization to industrialization.
Program and implement control logic using PLC environments for prototyping and custom series.
Develop embedded software for process control.
Manage and optimize the Bill of Materials to ensure the electrical design is viable for high-volume manufacturing.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in product development, automation design, programming, and implementation (e.g. experience over consumer electronics, building automation, automotive industry, IOT devices, illumination, HVAC or measure devices).
Experience in PLC languages and knowledge of C for embedded systems.
Proficiency in electrical CAD software (EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical).
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, CAN, SPI, I2C, etc).
Familiarity with mass-market product regulations (CE marking, UL certifications, etc).
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to bridge the gap between industrial automation and consumer electronics.
Professional fluency in English.
