Own the monthly close across all three entities (NL, DE, EG), including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue.
Maintain and improve accounting in Exact Online, ensuring a clean and accurate balance sheet and P&L.
Own Chargebee — managing billing, invoicing, and VAT logic to ensure accurate invoices and revenue data.
Review contract and subscription changes from the Customer Success team and align billing with accounting and revenue recognition.
Own Pleo and expense flows — reviewing expenses, ensuring correct booking, and overseeing AP/AR, payment runs, and collections.
Own intercompany invoicing and transfer pricing, and reconcile balances across entities.
Own entity-level and consolidated reporting, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation across all entities.
Improve and automate finance processes, leveraging AI and tooling to reduce manual work.

4–7 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong accounting fundamentals — debits/credits, balance sheet thinking, monthly close experience.
Comfortable working hands-on in systems and switching between high-level thinking and detailed execution.
Strong Excel skills; experience with Exact Online, Chargebee, or Pleo is a plus.
