Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS)
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal adjustments, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Coordinate tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions and liaise with external tax advisers
Manage tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns
Develop, document, and implement efficient financial workflows and procedures
Introduce strategies to enhance reporting accuracy and optimise resource allocation
Partner with IT and finance teams to deliver system upgrades and process integrations
Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial operations with broader business objectives
Supervise general ledger management, ensuring precise reconciliations and the integrity of financial records

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting, including at least two years in a senior or equivalent role
In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
