About this role
Role Overview
- Work across engineering teams supporting our effort in running and updating infrastructure platform
- Actively improve processes related to infrastructure
- Contribute input on best practices for infrastructure
- Work with industry standards including Terraform, AWS, ECS, and GitHub Actions
Requirements
- High proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure
- Basic familiarity with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Practical knowledge of VPC design, Global Accelerator, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)
- Experience running AWS ECS/Fargate now and Kubernetes for future setups
- Understanding of NGINX, Envoy, and service meshes like Istio (Ambient)
- Building pipelines in GitHub Actions for blue/green rollouts and ephemeral environments
- Skills in managing and tuning Amazon RDS (MySQL/Postgres) and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch
- Setting up SSO using Amazon Cognito and AWS IAM Identity Center
- Experience hosting various workloads (e.g., Go, Python, PHP)
- Handling AWS/GCP costs through Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and data cleanup rules
