Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting: Take full ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles, ensuring all deadlines are met with high accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making, ensuring data consistency across systems.
Revenue Recognition: Manage SaaS-specific accounting topics, including deferred revenue and complex billing cycles.
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure all statutory and tax filings (VAT, etc.) are completed accurately and on time.
Operational Support & Team Backup: Provide flexible support to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management teams during peak periods or absences.
Process Oversight: Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the accounting operations team to ensure quality control.
Intercompany: Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across the group’s international entities.
Business Partnership & Projects: Offer operational support for business development initiatives and special projects as requested by the Finance Director.
Skills Development: Help drive continuous improvement of the team’s technical capabilities and the sharing of best practices.
ERP & Tooling: Contribute to optimizing accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite) to automate manual tasks and shorten closing cycles.
Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to IT security policies and internal financial control procedures.
Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Experience: 5–8 years of accounting experience, with a proven track record in a fast-paced, international environment (SaaS or tech background preferred).
Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and consolidation principles.
Proven experience in financial reporting and complex reconciliations.
Proficiency with modern ERPs and advanced Excel skills.
Language: Fluent in English (C1 level) is mandatory to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and management.
