Role Overview
Ensure technical excellence: Guarantee high standards of engineering quality by making sound architectural decisions, ensuring code quality, reliability, and best practices across the team.
People growth: Support the growth and development of engineers through regular feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities, fostering an engaged, high-performing team.
Stakeholder management: Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery.
Co-building the domain vision: Partner with product managers to shape and evolve the domain vision, translating business strategy into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
Requirements
You have proven experience leading and growing engineering teams, with a strong focus on empowerment, collaboration, and ownership.
You enjoy staying hands-on as a technical leader, guiding the team’s delivery from design through implementation.
You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effectively balancing business priorities with technical trade-offs, particularly in transformation contexts or when working with evolving systems.
You apply and promote software engineering best practices, including code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
You have experience with event-driven design or architectures (EDA) and apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to build scalable, well-structured systems.
It’s a plus if you are comfortable with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.
You are passionate about building innovative products used by thousands of users.
You have experience with distributed systems and production-scale architectures.
You are familiar with cloud environments and operational excellence (monitoring, reliability, scalability).
You enjoy working closely with product and design to deliver customer value.
