About this role
Role Overview
Deliver engaging instructor-led SOLIDWORKS training (both remote and on-site) in English and French to our French-speaking customer base (including co-teaching initially, then teaching independently as you ramp up).
Prepare training materials, formulate classroom objectives aligned with course objectives, create self-paced courses per GoEngineer standards, incorporate feedback to continuously improve the learning experience and maintain consistency across the training team.
Work toward and maintain relevant SOLIDWORKS certifications (e.g., CSWA/CSWP; with growth opportunities toward advanced levels over time).
Assess customer needs, determine appropriate training solutions, answer attendee questions, coach students through exercises, and adapt instruction to different learning styles and experience levels.
Provide engineering software support on SOLIDWORKS and related tools as required.
Maintain and update the office training room, help organize and support new training initiatives, including assisting with team projects that improve scheduling, readiness, and execution.
Contribute to internal documentation and best practices to help standardize course delivery and support team consistency.
Partner with a highly tenured training team, leveraging mentorship and collaborating to deliver a high-quality, consistent training experience.
Represent GoEngineer professionally in the classroom and ensure students have a positive, confidence-building training experience.
Requirements
Bilingual proficiency in English and French (Canadian French preferred), with demonstrated ability to deliver technical training and support learners in both languages.
SolidWorks experience with a strong working knowledge of core workflows taught in an Essentials-style course (modeling, assemblies, drawings), and the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners with varying skill levels.
Professional experience delivering technical training, instruction, or enablement (in-person and/or virtual), with the ability to lead classes independently after onboarding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort presenting to groups, answering questions on the fly, and supporting a consistent training experience across the team.
Extra points for: prior co-teaching or mentoring experience, advanced SolidWorks certifications (CSWE), and experience with CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE.
