Role Overview
- Lead and mentor a team of Contract and Planning Managers, driving development, collaboration, and high performance.
- Build and maintain client relationships, manage complex issues, and support business growth.
- Oversee project delivery, finances, and budgets, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all sites.
- Support business development, tendering, and resourcing, including equipment and subcontractor management.
- Drive process improvement, technology use, and reporting to enhance efficiency and project visibility.
- Manage regional projects, including sign-off on key decisions and maintaining accreditations.
Requirements
- 5+ years working within the rail industry or similar.
- 5+ years management experience within a similar industry.
- Industry knowledge of arboriculture and/or rail
- Working with different stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence
- travel required.
- Experience working in a manual role within the industry or similar.
- Holds COSS and SMSTS qualification, however training will be provided.
- HSQE Qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH
