Provide strategic regulatory advice to LOB, Compliance, Audit and other attorneys
assess enforcement actions for in-scope subject matter areas that PNC can or should learn from
negotiating contract language with clients, vendors, partners, etc. for in-scope areas
perform significant and complex legal work while regularly interacting with management
oversee work product of other counsel and paralegals
oversee legal research, analysis, consultation, and documentation within a framework of legal compliance and risk management.
manage the expense for outside counsel relationships and oversee the strategic direction on leveraging outside counsel
provide counsel and advice to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to establish the legal strategy on broad range of matters related to new initiatives and products and/or other corporate, transactional, compliance and regulatory matters.
Requirements
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
Industry-relevant experience typically 8+ years
at least 5 years of prior management experience
Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility
