About this role

Developing tools that are primarily open sourced and available on akamai.github.com and utilized by our customers
Implementing Akamai Terraform Provider and Akamai CLI projects
Creating new features from scratch, enhancing existing features and optimizing existing functionality
Handling changes to existing tools to ensure that they align with the long-term strategy
Collaborating with our QA teams to create regression tests that cover new changes to our software

Demonstrate experience and knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go or Java
Be passionate about programming and have an interest in learning new programming languages
Have a basic understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as a Code concept
Show experience with Docker or similar container technologies
Have experience of working in a Remote Agile Team when developing products through the SDLC
Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
