Role Overview
Own initiatives end-to-end: from solution design to shipped features in customers' hands.
Translate user pain points and requests into solution proposals.
Coordinate with Designers on design requirements and align with stakeholders.
Build and maintain our Recruiter Portal using TypeScript and React.
Build and maintain our Ruby on Rails backend application.
Create Epics, break them down into tickets, and manage delivery planning.
Conduct light user research and communicate with internal users and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs in our applications.
Pair with other engineers on tough problems to arrive at the best solution.
Own release management and draft product documentation.
Requirements
Min. 2 years or more of full-time experience in software engineering.
Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, as well as TypeScript or JavaScript.
Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
Solid understanding of web development (how HTTP works, REST, in-browser storage, etc.).
Experience leveraging AI tools as part of your fundamental workflow, from general prompting to agents with Copilot, Cursor, and alike.
Strong interest in product ownership

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
