About this role
Role Overview
Develop and execute strategic operational plans for U.S. manufacturing sites
Oversee the financial performance of all U.S. Specialty Components sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L
Develop and execute capital investment strategies across U.S. sites to support operational needs
Lead standardization of operational processes, KPIs, and reporting across sites
Partner with the President of the SBU to identify and implement operational improvements
Oversee and support Site Plant Managers in driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement
Optimize labor, equipment, and capacity utilization across the U.S. footprint
Improve cost-site alignment by implementing consistent cost control measures
Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Business Development teams
Serve as a key operational representative in customer meetings and audits
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and external partners
Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required
Graduate Degree (e.g., MBA or technical Master’s) preferred
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
Proven success leading multi-site operations and cross-functional teams, including direct customer engagement
Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, capital project execution, and cost control
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational standardization practices
Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant regulatory requirements
Effective communicator and leader with a demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners
Able to navigate a matrixed organization and build alignment across global and regional teams
