General Ledger Accountant

Role Overview

• Perform General Ledger and Fixed asset accounting, including preparation and posting of journal, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies
• Perform monthly, quarterly, yearly financial closing activities
• Support internal customers in general accounting matters and respond to queries
• Support other team members in accounting related matters, be an accounting expert and advisor when needed
• Provide necessary accounting information to auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on open items
• Participate in finance process improvements in cooperation with other stakeholders
• Take part in various internal development initiatives

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting area
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Work experience of at least 2 years in financial accounting or audit assistance
• Good English language skills (written and spoken)
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly responsible, punctual, service minded and supportive personality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Team worker, good at supporting others and good at collaboration
