Work on projects that impact the business and contribute directly to Transcarent’s mission of better health and care by making it easy and safe for members and employees to sign in and access our products.
Help design, build, and test features in our Identity and Access Management services, including login, registration, account recovery, and SSO/federation workflows for member and workforce users.
Contribute to backend services that integrate with Ping and AWS/GCP infrastructure, focusing on reliability, performance, and security.
Support projects around environment and tooling for our identity platform (e.g., improving non-prod and sandbox environments, automation, and observability) to enable safe, repeatable changes.
Participate in the full engineering lifecycle: design discussions, code reviews, writing tests, monitoring services, and responding to issues as part of an on-call/support culture.
Collaborate with engineers across web, mobile, platform, data, and security teams to deliver secure and delightful sign-in experiences.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript
Interest in security, compliance, and privacy and how those shape real-world identity platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) (Nice to have)
Exposure to identity platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity / PingOne, Auth0, or AWS IAM / IAM Identity Center (Nice to have)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows (Nice to have)
