This Role Requires Applicants To Be Located south of Boston MA, or close to the Quincy MA area as you will be required to be on site as needed 2-3 days a week.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Network & Systems Engineer to join our growing, dynamic team in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
In this role, you will take the lead in supporting a large and important customer environment.
You will leverage your deep knowledge of networking technologies including Cisco, HPE, and Dell switches.
Additionally, you will be responsible for working directly on Dell servers and must demonstrate a strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services.
You will also actively contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives, helping to elevate our service delivery.
Requirements
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in network and systems engineering roles, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments.
Proven track record in incident management, RCA, and delivering network and server solutions under tight deadlines.
Experience with firmware updates, patch management, and hardware lifecycle management.
Technical Skills:
Switching and Routing: Expertise in Cisco, HP, and Dell switches.
Firewalls: Hands-on experience with SonicWALL, Fortinet, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Wireless and Cloud Networking: Experience with Cisco and Meraki Wireless.
Load Balancing: Proficiency with physical and virtual F5 load balancers.
Servers: Hands-on experience working on Dell servers.
Operating Systems: Strong understanding and practical experience with Windows Server operating systems.
Directory Services: Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory.
